Responsibilities:

  • The primary role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to direct and supervise the maintenance team, facilities specialist, fork truck fleet, buildings and grounds to ensure that they continue to operate safely as to not interrupt or prevent its use by its occupants due to maintenance issues or safety concerns and ensure that the facility is in compliance with all FSNA, Local, State and Federal requirements.
  • The Maintenance Supervisor shall utilize internal maintenance staff in combination with the work order system to resolve maintenance issues whenever possible and shall solicit bids for the services such as snowplowing, roofing, fork truck Fleet and grounds maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that all required inspections and maintenance items are completed on time.
  • The position will interact with all areas within the Operations team and may receive additional assignments based on the needs of FSNA and/or changes to FSNA, Local, State and Federal requirements.
  • The position will require work with the internal engineering and maintenance teams, as well as external contractors to accomplish some of the requirements.
  • The position will also be responsible to distribute and receive back the Contractor’s Handbook to all contractors who come on site. The position will also back up the Facilities & Warehouse Manager and EHS Coordinator, in regards to the facilities duties, including potential delivery of chemicals and/or the hazardous waste responsibilities.
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and equipment performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
  • The Maintenance Supervisor performs administrative tasks necessary to ensure the proper performance of the FSNA maintenance program and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should possess: maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of facilities management, and/or educational (or on-the-job training) background related to maintenance/engineering.
  • Must possess analytical abilities and skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to deal with multiple projects and the same time.
  • This candidate must be capable of operating under pressure and change management requirements comfortably. The position operates daily in a fast paced, detail-oriented, high-pressure environment and will work independently as required.
  • This position must hold the ability to influence several layers across several work functions within the organization.
  • Detail working knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel, Access, CAD systems, etc.is also required.

Salary starting at $70,000/year.
