Data Analyst / Consultant Controlling - Asia Pacific (M/F/D)

  • Active support of top management of APA in day-to-day business and in conceptual and strategic tasks
  • Preparation of well-founded decision papers for the Board Meetings as well as preparation of comprehensive documents
  • Check of monthly report and data analysis (e.g. volumes, margins, relative margins, deviation analysis to OP , Cash FC, Cash Flow statement, finance planning)
  • Coordination with Headquarter in Germany regarding intercompany invoices, accounting questions, financing topics etc.
  • Preparation of weekly team meetings
  • Interface between the Finance department, the management of the corporate headquarters as well as the branches in China
  • Preparation of presentations, e.g. for quarterly and financial year reporting, as well as of shareholder committee meetings with Chinese shareholders
  • Preparation of strategy reviews and board meetings


  • Above-average university degree (Bachelor or Master's degree), preferably in Economics, Business Administration
  • (First) professional experience in controlling, finance or accounting in a corporate or consulting environment
  • Solution- and result-oriented working style, precise in analysis, extremely structured in thinking, and above all, fast and uncomplicated in realization
  • Ability to see the big picture as well as strong attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality while managing highly sensitive material with the utmost professionalism
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin with strong intercultural skills at all hierarchical levels
  • International experience through semesters, internships or occupations abroad
  • Willingness to live and work in China after training in Germany
