In Pulaski are our specialists for imaging, digital printing and release papers. In addition to sales and distribution for North America, the more than 100 employees take care of converting and packaging for the domestic market.
Responsibilities:
· Reporting truck damage caused by the driver or other vehicle
· Reporting any certifications or licenses near expiration for the trucks
· Delivering FG in a timely manner based on the delivery schedule
· Loading and unloading FG on the delivery truck
· Will call of equipment/consumables
· Assisting shipping/receiving personnel as required
· Alerting management to issues such as maintenance, HR, equipment, etc
· Clocking in and out for arrival and departure.
· Obtaining signed packing slips from customers at delivery
· Properly completing paper work including backorders
· Communicating with customer service personnel finished deliveries
· Submitting any paperwork to management from deliveries
· Delivering product in the delivery truck as requested
· Dropping off and picking up the trucks from Penske for quarterly PMs
Requirements Section:
- Valid California Class C Driver's License (minimum) with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) — no more than [2] moving violations in the past [3] years and [0] at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
- Air Brake familiarity — experience operating vehicles equipped with air brake systems strongly preferred.
- Lift gate operation experience — safe and proficient use of hydraulic/electric lift gates (up to 4,000 lbs).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in a 26' box truck or equivalent medium-duty diesel vehicle.
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Proficiency with GPS/navigation and route planning tools.
- Prior customer-facing experience preferred, such as delivery, route sales, or service industry roles where building and maintaining positive customer relationships was a regular part of the job
Accountabilities Section:
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and documenting findings
- Operating the lift gate safely during loading/unloading at customer locations
- Managing multi-stop, multi-city route execution efficiently
- Maintaining compliance with California vehicle weight and size regulations
- Maintaining a clean driving record and immediately reporting any incidents or citations
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately verify product against packing lists and complete delivery documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional customer-facing interactions
- Conflict resolution skills
- Serving as a professional representative of the company at all customer locations, maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor that reflects the company's standards and supports strong customer relationships
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to operate lift gate controls and safely guide loaded pallets/freight
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods (routes may be 4–8+ hours)
- Ability to climb in/out of truck cab repeatedly throughout the day
Ability to stand, bend and move actively during loading and unloading operations
